Arthur's 3rd Saturday Downtown Craft Market
Every 3rd Saturday of
each month the Arthur Downtown Merchants Committee hold
craft and antique market 10am to 4pm here at the Gazebo Annex right in the
center of downtown Arthur. During the cold winter months
the market has been held indoors in our large heated room. During the
warmer months we expand the market outdoors as well into the
parking lot. Indoors holds between 15 and 20 booths and the parking lot
will hold 20+ more. Additional space is available outdoors in the
adjacent, covered Knights Court area. The 3rd Saturday Market has drawn crafters from as far as Kentucky
and has drawn close to 1000 visitors on its opening day. Space is available for

Arthur's Saturday Morning Downtown Farmer's Market
8am to about noon every Saturday - July through Labor Day
Bring your produce, baked goods, plants, of hand crafts. Bring your own tables and tents if you wish, or sell right out of your truck or wagon. At this time there is no cost to offer your products, just show up. Also sponsored by the Arthur Merchants.
Gunny Sack Revue
What started out as a 3 guys using a shop for a weekly jam session has turned
into an weekly event that draws 20+ musicians and 100 or more people to listen.
Every Wednesday night at the Gazebo
Annex these players get together and go
around in a circle taking turns playing a song of their choice with others
joining in on the chorus. Young and old alike enjoy their performances.
Join us downtown in the Gazebo Annex for some every Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
for a good bluegrass and country pickin' time. No charge to watch or
participate. Snacks and refreshments available.
Downtown Antique Markets
On the first weekend of of October,
downtown Arthur invites antique lovers to come and shop. The Gazebo Annex and
nearby areas fill with antiques and dealers of all kinds. No crafts, no fleas...
maybe some food, but mainly antiques, antiques and antiques. Vendor space
available, indoors and covered outdoors and real outdoors.
CIBR-BBQ Headquarters
Each year on the 2nd Saturday of October, 50+ professional BBQ'ers and 10,000+ BBQ enthusiasts descend on
downtown Arthur to
watch the best compete for big cash prizes. The
Gazebo Annex becomes the headquarters for this exciting tasty festival.
The Central Illinois Braggin' Rights BBQ committee holds all meeting, VIP
dinners, and judging in the Gazebo Annex. The VIP Dinner brings 100+
guests from throughout the community and the judging seats 60-100 people for
judging professionally made bbq entries.
Vendor space is available outdoors during this event.
